Living in Brunswick rules. As you would know, as most of my readers live here. Tabets oregano pizza on fresh, homemade dough, with fresh vegies, cooked in the hot stone oven, sprinkled with lemon juice and olive oil and rolled up like a kebab.

Fuck. Yeah.

$$: $2.50 YEAH YOU HEARD ME old world prices

  3. Wow - how do these compare with the pizzas from A1 Bakery? I don't get to Sydney Road that often so I always make a pilgrimage to A1. Maybe I should change allegiances?

  4. the A1/Tabets rivalry is strong, I had a falafel at A1 the only time I went there and it was sublime... I think you should do battle of the Sydney Rd pizzas!!

  5. It may have been YEARS since you wrote this but I moved to Brunswick four days ago and looked straight to your reviews for tasty guidance. I live REALLY close to Tabets so strolled past thinking surely over the years it's changed/had a huge price hike but NO! Well, it's $3 instead of $2.50 (shock horror!) but it looks exactly the same. Next time I walk past I'm going in! Saw A1 too, it's on the (ever expanding) list :)

  6. Had the veggie/oregano pizza last night, YUM! Best $3 I've spent! Turns out A1 doesn't sell felafel after 5pm... weird... Anyways, food journey times :)
