what vegans eat - sunday

breakfast: left over stir fry from the day before (nom!)
snack: an apple

lunch: avocado bruschetta at Journal Cafe with a soy coffee $10 even

dinner (early): notdog from Walkers Doughnuts $7.50
snack: 3 handfuls of almonds while I made the crumble

dessert: ramshackle crumble with apples and frozen berries (sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon), the lid: coconut, bob's red mill hot tasty cereal, chopped up almonds, sugar, cinnamon, LSA - this was good but not my usual best, couldn't be bothered going to the shops!

  2. Protein? Um maybe not, caffeine is the enemy of protein (and iron, calcium, B, C, D etc) Hate to be a naturopath about it :)

    1. wow! I did not know that Gill... thankfully I only have one coffee a day... I knew about calcium..

  3. It's all about when you have the coffee. A good hour or two before or after nutrient rich meals/supplements. I've seen omnis become anaemic due to coffee drinking with meals etc, even more crucial for vegans.
